Reaching out takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years working as a solicitor. Alongside that, I managed a home, relationships, finances, and the constant pressure to be the “best” version of myself, as a parent, partner, professional and friend. I understand how exhausting that balancing act can be, and how easy it is to feel like you’re falling short, even when you’re doing your best.

As a parent of young adults, I understand how confusing and overwhelming life can feel for young people today, and how frightening and helpless it can feel as a parent when your child is struggling and you don’t know how to make things better.

These personal and professional experiences are what led me to train as a therapist. They shape how I work and how I meet you, with warmth, steadiness and compassion, especially when life feels messy, painful or out of control.

I bring real-life perspective into the therapy room, offering a space where nothing needs to be hidden. Where guilt, shame, fear, anger, love and heartbreak are all welcome.
